Unusual cluster of lustrous faden quartz consisting of a main faden quartz and several side cars. The quartz has a slight smoky hue. There are some nicks at the main termination, bottom is fully rehealed.

Pair of lustrous rock crystals with mainly very clear bodies forming a very attractive assembly. The crystals are grown in the transitional habitus typical for this classic Austrian locale. Some siderite and ilmenite aggregates are attached or included. Both rock crystals have minor nicks at their tips.

Group of water-clear and highly lustrous rock crystals with some associated pericline. The rock crystals exhibit typical Binntal habit and measure up to 5 cm in length. The matrix was cut at the bottom. No significant damage.

Chalcophyllite on Malachite - sold

Exceptional locality specimen of this rare Cu-species. Numerous cluster of teal-blue chalcophyllite blades on massy malachite aggregates with some sprays of azurite adding colour contrast. The backside of the specimen is cut. Ex R. A. Bideaux collection.

The rock crystals measure up to 7 cm length and 2.5 cm diameter. They exhibit good luster and clarity and some have turquois rhomb faces from schist inclusions. There are some ruptures at the peripheral base and the two crystals on the right hand side in image #2 have contacts at their tips. The bottom side of the matrix holds marks of the chisel used to cut it off the cleft wall.

Rather filigree group of rock crystals on thick quartz matrix. Crystal size up to 5 cm with 1.5 cm diameter. There are some small crystals broke-off in the central part of the specimen (probably due to frost) and 2 larger crystals with broken tips along the border.

Lustrous epidote crystal with well developed termination and on matrix. The epidote exhibits high translucency (image 3 backlit) and thus distinct pleochroism. The bottom half of the crystal is slightly bent, which is a typical feature of Knappenwand epidote reflecting interrupted growth history. No repair!

Extraordinary group of phantom quartz crystals from the renowned cleft at Piz Regina worked by Alfons Derungs und Michael Flepp in 2000-2004. The deep grey phantoms and colouring stem from grey shist inclusions. The specimen is richly covered with crystals on both sides with the dominant, doubly terminated crystal measuring 10.5 cm. There are several contacts and broken tips across the specimen, which accounts for the moderate price of this truly remarkable specimen.

The grand Cavradi trio: stacked hematite blades with epitaxial rutile on a  group of rock crystals. The main hematite aggregate measures 20 mm in width. There are some minor contacts on the quartz, but no conspicuous damage.

Very lustrous and clear smoky quartz. The paragenesis with chlorite-dusted adularia is most typical for Innergschlöss. Rehealed bottom and somewhat rough at the tip, but in overall very good condition. Found by the Austrian collector Obkircher Gottlieb.

Water-clear and highly lustrous rock crystal - this is just the crystal quality the Rauris valley is so famous for.  A limonite coated cluster of adularia is ingrown at the front side. The bottom of the rock crystal is fully rehealed, some edge wear in the tip region.
